Why Crypto Needs a Platypus
Rug Pullatypus isn’t your typical meme coin—it’s the crypto world’s humorous answer to rug pulls, pump-and-dumps, and the scammers who think “community” means “suckers.” It all started when our project lead, half-joking during a chat, said, “Rug Pullatypus—now that’s a coin!”—only for his autistic son, an animation wizard, to doodle it into existence. Crypto’s supposed to be about freedom and big ideas, not FOMO-induced meltdowns or wallets emptier than a platypus’s dating profile. We’re crashing that pity party with a goofy mascot and a mission—“rug pulling” the narrative back to sanity with laughs, not tears. We’re spotlighting mental health (it’s a jungle out there), education (no PhD required), and neurodivergent artists like our Art Director, who’s turning his talent into tendies. Plus, we’re tossing some profits to good causes—because why not? From a barstool jest to a blockchain beast, Rug Pullatypus is here to make crypto fun, fair, and a little less feral.
